Today I was on Ancestry.com adding to my tree and looking up relatives and thinking about all the family before me that has had a part in the life i live today. It’s amazing when you think about it how many family members there were before you and how they branch off to other families and so and so on. I have always felt I have lived another life way back when and wonder which one of those people was i? Pretty crazy i know, but I have felt that way ever since I can remember. Anyway, I am going to post some pictures of my Mom. She is very special to my heart for a lot of reasons. I wish she lived closer so we could see her more than the once a year she comes home to stay with us for a few weeks. My mom has always been there for me no matter how far away she lives from me. I can always call her any time of the day or night and in the past have had to do so. When I was a kid we had horses and were in the western horse shows doing barrel races and stuff like that. My mom was always the one with us outside playing football and whatever else we were doing. All my girlfriends loved her, they could talk to her about anything. It wasnt easy growing up with a divorced mom on welfare and foodstamps, but back then that was the only choice she had with 4 kids to raise and child support not coming in. She worked but it was never enough, we just got by, but I was happy most of the time. My mom finally seems to be pretty happy with her life. She married a guy who she dated in high school and had lost touch with and as I understand it, she had dumped him for my father! They just moved to another part of Florida and have a nice little place which they are filling up with animals! minature cow, donkey, dogs, cats, and god knows what else, but thats what makes her happy. I am surprised she doesnt have a frog pond yet as that is what she collects. She has a collection of a bazillion frog statues, etc., that she has been collecting ever since I can remember. And even tho we say she should stop, what do we buy her for a gift…another frog! I think my mother did a good job of raising me! There is a lot more I could write about but this is good for now. I love you Mom
