Mother’s Day

I had an awesome Mother’s Day yesterday. My handsome man made my
kids and I brunch! The night before he came home with champagne and roses!
The roses as you can see are a variety of all my favorite colors!
I am so lucky and feel so loved with him!

My daughters and 3 granddaughters made me a gift card flower bouquet,
which is really special!

I also got another bouquet of flowers with my 2nd favorite flower,
Sunflowers, from my oldest son and his wife

My oldest daughter had also taken my 3 grandgirls to Sears for pictures
for me & my other daughter and they are gorgeous!

After brunch we had a softball game with my 2 granddaughters “The Pink Panthers”!

After the game we were off to Michael’s mom’s for some steak tips on the grill!
Yummy!
Guess What I Got?

More flowers!
It looks like a flower shop in my house today!
I Love It!!
I hope everyone had as good a Mother’s Day as I did!

Life Update

I just realized that I never mentioned I got engaged January 7th! We met online at Yahoo Personals in 2004 and have been together ever since. He’s a great guy and I am so happy with our life. We don’t have the same interests but we get along great! We haven’t decided on a wedding date yet, but I am pretty sure I want to get married in the back yard. So I will have a lot of planning and gardening to do! I’ll keep you updated on the plans!

Little Ones Grow So Fast

These two cuties are my oldest granddaughters, Olivia and Mackenzie, and it seems like yesterday when they were just babies. I cant believe how time flies. I can still remember my own kids being this small and now they are having children of their own.I can’t imagine a day without these girls in my life. They add so much joy to my life. I love the way they just say whatever comes to mind without thinking about it, I can’t remember the last time I was able to do that! They always have something interesting to report from their day. And they always want to know what the favorite part of my day was. And when you think it just can’t get better, here comes another little girly girl….
Miss Jillian
Jillian has added so much to all our lives! She is definitely her own little woman!
It’s so funny how each child has their own personality and can be so different.
I can tell the years ahead are sure to be interesting!!!
Love you girls!!!!Jillian, Olivia and Mackenzie

My Recent Project

My oldest daughter bought a house on her 30th birthday & cried for 3 days because it was such a disaster! I saw the potential in the cute little colonial and knew it only needed some love & attention, so I got right to work. It’s not done yet, but it’s getting there and she’s not crying anymore! It’s amazing what a lot of elbow grease & paint can do!

New Items for 2009

I want to wish everyone a Happy Healthy New Year!

My house & barn are full of furniture and all sorts of things! I buy things I love & then I see something else I love & buy that also….. Now I have a few different dining room tables and I don’t use any of them! So I will be selling them along with other items…..I painted this table white and I love the detail on the legs. It’s very sturdy.

This great vintage shabby stool is very sturdy……
Needle point seat is really cute….

This vintage table is long & skinny! It’s great behind a couch, or????

I have had this table for over 15 years & love it, but I am not using it right now
so, for the right price, I guess I could let it go to a new home……

Chipmunk

Well, here we have another little furry animal trying to move into our home! We have been here since 2001 and when we moved in we had some squirrels living in the side gutter facia that we had to have removed. Once we got them out of that side they decided to move into another side of the house in another gutter area! We finally got the totally moved out & discovered we had Bats living in the eaves of the roof! Every night at dusk we would see them come flying out and circle around the sky! Not knowing what to do about them they got to stay awhile until one day I got a phone call from a Ed who needed a website built. That was a very good day! Ed happen to be the owner of PrecisionWildlife.com and specialized in bat removal! So we made a deal & bartered services, I made his website, he got rid of my bats! Now I have this little one living behind the stone in front of my office……What next????

Fall…

I can’t believe I haven’t written since July! The time just seems to vanish. So much has happen the past few months. My oldest daughter has gotten her license and is now a Mental Health Counselor, my other daughter was accepted into the nursing program and I have been watching my granddaughters while she attends the night classes. Life is always so busy around here! I have also been organizing my Barn Shoppe so that I can open it at certain days & time. It still needs alot of things before I think it will be perfect, but it is coming along.
I will be posting more pictures tomorrow of the wildlife & of the kids and shoppe, so stop on back if you get a chance!
